Frequently asked questions

How do I add a loyalty or membership card to RooCards?

Open RooCards, tap the add button, then choose barcode, QR code, photo import, or manual card entry. RooCards works well for supermarket rewards cards, store cards, gym memberships, library cards, cafe cards, and other recurring cards you need to scan.

Can RooCards scan both barcodes and QR codes?

Yes. RooCards stores barcode and QR code cards, including common retail and membership formats such as EAN, UPC, Code 39, Code 128, PDF417, Aztec, Data Matrix, and Codabar. That makes it useful for store cards, rewards cards, membership cards, gift cards, vouchers, and digital passes.

How do I find cards with Spotlight search on iPhone?

On iPhone, RooCards can make saved cards searchable from Spotlight. Swipe down on the Home Screen, type the card name, store name, or label you use in RooCards, then tap the result to open the card directly.

How do I use RooCards widgets on iPhone?

Add a RooCards widget from the iPhone widget gallery, then choose the cards or codes you want close to the Home Screen. RooCards supports card-grid widgets and scan-ready barcode and QR widgets for frequent supermarket, gym, cafe, and membership cards.

Can I add RooCards cards to Apple Wallet?

On iPhone, RooCards can add eligible cards to Apple Wallet. RooCards Plus unlocks the full Apple Wallet experience for eligible cards. Cards added to Apple Wallet on iPhone can also be available in Wallet on a paired Apple Watch.

How do I back up my cards?

RooCards keeps your card wallet private on-device, and iPhone users can enable iCloud backup to restore cards on another Apple device.

Can I import multiple cards from screenshots?

Yes. RooCards includes a bulk import flow for users who already have loyalty card screenshots, membership screenshots, or cards saved in another app. Bulk import is useful during first setup because it helps you move several existing cards into a cleaner RooCards library.

Is RooCards private?

Yes. RooCards is designed as a private store card wallet with no login required, so you can keep your cards organized without creating an account first.

Which RooCards version should I use?

Use RooCards on iPhone for the primary current experience, including Apple Wallet, Home Screen widgets, Spotlight search, and iCloud-oriented backup. The existing Android version remains available on Google Play for basic loyalty card, store card, barcode, and QR card storage.
