Card-grid widget
Use this when you want several favorite loyalty, store, rewards, or membership cards visible from the Home Screen.
Scan-ready barcode and QR widget
Use this when one card should show a barcode or QR code directly on the Home Screen for fast scanning.
Choose a widget size
- Small (2x2) for compact access.
- Medium (2x4) for a wider card or code area.
- Large (4x4) for a larger Home Screen setup.
The full RooCards widget experience supports up to five card-grid widgets per size and up to five scan-ready barcode and QR widgets per size.
Best cards to feature in a widget
- Frequent supermarket rewards cards
- Gym or fitness check-in cards
- Daily cafe or retail store cards
- Any membership you open several times each week
If the widget is not updating
- Open RooCards once after editing cards.
- Check that the selected card still exists.
- Remove and re-add the widget if iOS has cached an older state.
- Give iOS time to refresh widget content; widget updates are partly managed by the system.
Other fast access options
Use Spotlight when you remember the card name, pinned cards when you open RooCards first, and Apple Wallet for eligible high-use cards that should live in Wallet.
