What is the best way to add loyalty cards to RooCards?

The best way to add loyalty cards to RooCards is to scan the card barcode or QR code when you have the physical card nearby. If your cards are already saved as screenshots, use photo import or bulk import first, then clean up card names so search, widgets, Spotlight, and Apple Wallet options work better later.

The quickest way to add a card

  1. 1. Open RooCards and tap the add button.
  2. 2. Choose barcode, QR code, photo import, or manual card.
  3. 3. Scan the code, import the card image, or type the membership details.
  4. 4. Save the card, then give it a clear name so search works well later.

Cards that work well in RooCards

  • Store rewards programs and supermarket cards
  • Gym and fitness memberships
  • Library cards and club memberships
  • Cafe loyalty cards and retail barcodes
  • Membership numbers that need fast lookup later

If your cards are already screenshots

Use RooCards bulk import when you are setting up a larger card library from existing screenshots. This is usually faster than adding every barcode and QR code manually.

Tip: name cards the way you search for them

If you usually think “Woolworths rewards” or “gym card”, use names like that. It makes in-app search, iPhone Spotlight results, widgets, and Apple Wallet labels more useful.

After adding cards on iPhone

After your card library is set up, use RooCards as the main card library and choose faster access surfaces for the cards you scan most often.
