Can you create an Apple Wallet pass from any barcode?
No app should promise that every barcode can become a working Apple Wallet pass. RooCards supports Apple Wallet for eligible cards and keeps the original card available in RooCards when Apple Wallet is not the right surface for that card, code type, device, or signing flow.
How to add a barcode card to Apple Wallet
- 1. Add the barcode or QR card to RooCards first.
- 2. Open the card detail page on iPhone.
- 3. Choose the Apple Wallet option when the card is eligible.
- 4. Review the Wallet confirmation screen and add the pass.
Add loyalty and membership cards to Apple Wallet
The best candidates are cards you scan in person often: supermarket loyalty cards, store rewards cards, gym memberships, club cards, and other cards where the barcode or QR code is the main checkout or check-in step.
RooCards stays useful even when a card is not eligible for Apple Wallet because the scan-ready card remains in your RooCards wallet.
Library card Apple Wallet barcode
Library cards are a good fit for RooCards because they are useful to keep but easy to forget. If the library card barcode is eligible, RooCards can add it to Apple Wallet; otherwise the barcode remains easy to open from RooCards.
Gym card barcode Apple Wallet
Gym cards and fitness memberships are often scanned during a fast check-in moment. Use RooCards to store the barcode, then add eligible gym cards to Apple Wallet when supported by the card and device.
Use RooCards as the full card library
Apple Wallet is best for selected high-use cards. RooCards remains the place to store, organize, search, edit, import, and display the full set of barcode and QR cards.
