RooCards FAQ

Should you download RooCards on Android or iPhone?

RooCards is now primarily built for iPhone. Choose the App Store for the newest RooCards experience, including Apple Wallet, widgets, and Spotlight. The existing Android version remains available on Google Play for basic card storage and barcode or QR access.

If you use Android

Download RooCards from Google Play if you mainly need the existing Android version for basic loyalty card, store card, rewards card, membership card, barcode, and QR storage.

Apple Wallet, iPhone widgets, Spotlight search, and Apple Watch Wallet access are iPhone-side features. Android users should treat Google Play as the basic saved-card option.

What still applies on both platforms

  • Store loyalty cards, rewards cards, and membership cards in one app.
  • Open barcodes and QR codes when you need to scan them.
  • Use a cleaner card library instead of scattered screenshots and physical cards.
  • Start with the cards you scan most often, then add lower-frequency cards later.

Start with iPhone if you want the full RooCards experience

RooCards is easiest to evaluate when you add a few cards you already use every week. Use Google Play only if you specifically need the existing Android version.
