這是耶穌在登山寶訓中教導門徒的禱告（馬太福音 6:9–13），路加福音 11:2–4 也有較短的記載。和合本收錄了結尾的「因為國度、權柄、榮耀，全是你的」，許多教會在聚會中一同誦念。
