VerseLume Terms of Use
Last updated: 18 October 2026Your licence to use VerseLume
VerseLume is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA). These terms add the details that are specific to VerseLume. If the two differ about the app licence itself, the Standard EULA applies.
Read Apple’s Standard EULAUsing VerseLume
Every feature of VerseLume is free. Reading, search, listening, highlights, notes and saved passages are free and need no account. You can sign in with Apple to sync across your devices. You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple Account and devices secure.
Supporting VerseLume
You can choose to support VerseLume with a one-time in-app payment in Settings › Support VerseLume. Seven amounts are offered, and the price is shown in your local currency before you pay. Each payment is a voluntary gift to Marc X Studio, the developer: it is not a charitable donation, it does not renew, it does not unlock or change any feature, and you can give again at any time.
Apple charges your Apple Account and handles payments and refund requests under its own policies.
Using VerseLume fairly
Use VerseLume lawfully and in a way that respects others. Please use the app as it is offered, and avoid automated access, reselling access or anything that interferes with the service for other people.
Your content
Your notes, highlights and other study data remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to provide VerseLume to you, for example to sync them when you sign in, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to VerseLume
We keep improving VerseLume and may add, change or remove features. When a change affects how VerseLume handles your information, we update the Privacy Policy first.
Ending your use
You can stop using VerseLume at any time and delete your account in Settings › Account & Data. We may suspend access to online features if they are used in breach of these terms or in a way that puts others at risk.
Warranty and liability
VerseLume is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those in the Standard EULA, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of VerseLume.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded, including the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, except where the law of the country you live in gives you the right to rely on its rules or courts.
Changes to these terms
When we update these terms, we change the date at the top of this page. For significant changes we will also tell you in the app. Continuing to use VerseLume after an update means you accept the new terms.
