Snap Spell FAQ

Snap Spell FAQ

Answers about bringing in a spelling list, practising the words, understanding the current word status, and finding product support.

01

What Snap Spell helps with

What does Snap Spell do?

#

Snap Spell turns spelling words you already have into a list you can check and practise. Start from a scan, a photo, pasted text, typed words, or a Snap Spell file; review the list before saving; then use the list for read-aloud spelling practice.

Make a practice list from your own words

Choose how to bring in the list and check it before saving.

What does Snap Spell not provide?

#

Snap Spell does not provide a complete English course, official school word lists, spelling-bee materials, classroom management, assignments, or progress reports. It is for working with a list of words that is already in hand.

02

Add and check a spelling list

How can I start a list?

#

Choose the easiest format for the words you have:

  • scan a paper list
  • import a photo or screenshot
  • paste or type words
  • import a Snap Spell file

Start from a photo of a spelling list

Follow the scan-and-review path for a paper or image list.

Why should I review the words before saving?

#

Reviewing lets you keep the practice list accurate. Before saving, you can correct a spelling, delete a mistake, or add a word that is missing. The list used for practice should match the words you intend to practise.

03

Practise and decide what to revisit

What is the difference between `Practice Together` and `Solo Test`?

#

In Practice Together, one person plays each word while the learner spells it aloud or on paper. In Solo Test, Snap Spell reads each word and checks the spelling the learner types.

Have the words in your list read aloud

Use the saved list when you want to hear each word before answering.

What do `To Study`, `Practicing`, and `Mastered` mean?

#

These are word-level statuses inside the current list. They help you decide which words to return to next. They are not a grade, a prediction, or a report on overall learning.

04

Pro and backup

Which features are confirmed as Pro features?

#

Pro includes PDF practice sheets, separate learner profiles, and iCloud Backup. This FAQ does not list prices or purchase conditions; check the app for the current offer.

Is iCloud Backup live sync between devices?

#

No. iCloud Backup is for manual restore, not real-time multi-device sync.

05

Privacy and support

Where can I read the privacy details?

#

Use the Snap Spell Privacy page for the product's current privacy information. This FAQ does not replace that policy.

Where should I go if a list, voice, PDF, or backup issue is still unresolved?

#

Open the Snap Spell Support page. You can also use Send Feedback in the app when you need to report a problem with an import, voice, list, or backup.

Need more help?

Still need help with a list, voice, PDF, or backup?

Use the support page or Send Feedback in the app when you need help with imports, voices, PDFs, iCloud Backup, or a missing list.
