Product Update
Pin favorite cards for faster access in RooCards
Pinning is a small update, but it changes the day-to-day feel of the app. Instead of treating every saved card as equally important, RooCards now lets you keep the ones you actually scan all the time at the top.
In practice, most people do not use a card wallet evenly. One card gets opened at the supermarket every few days, another at the gym, another at a chemist or cafe, and the rest sit there until they are needed once in a while. Pinning exists to reflect that pattern instead of pretending a long alphabetical list is always good enough.
What the feature is for
The point is not organisation for its own sake. The point is quicker access when you are standing at the register and already know which card you need. If the same Flybuys barcode, cafe stamp card, or gym membership keeps coming up, it should stay near the top without extra effort from you.
Cards that usually make sense to pin
- Your main supermarket or fuel rewards card
- A gym, pool, or club membership you scan several times a week
- A cafe or bakery loyalty card you use on the commute
- Any family card that needs to stay easy to hand over quickly
How it fits with the rest of RooCards
Pinning works best as a lightweight layer on top of the rest of the app. You can import or add cards normally, keep your full library in one place, then pin the short list that needs to stay visible. That keeps RooCards useful as your card collection gets bigger without making the home view feel cluttered.
If you are new to RooCards, the best next page is the main RooCards overview. If your cards are mostly retail and rewards programs, the store card page is more specific. If you want the practical setup steps, go straight to the add cards guide.
Build a RooCards wallet around your regular cards
If you are deciding whether RooCards fits your everyday mix of loyalty and membership cards, the main product pages are a better place to continue.
