NumListen Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 26, 2026

NumListen is a focused number listening practice app. It stores core practice data on your device and uses advertising, analytics, crash reporting, purchase, and feedback services as described below.

Saved settings and local practice data

NumListen stores core practice settings and local progress data on your device so the app can remember how you practice.

  • This can include voice selection, playback speed, autoplay, haptics, sound preferences, and local statistics.
  • Practice sessions and typed answers are used inside the app experience to provide feedback and summaries.
  • Local practice data remains on your device until you reset it in the app or delete the app. NumListen does not use iCloud backup or iCloud sync in the current version.

Spoken exercises and typed answers

NumListen uses spoken number prompts and digit input to power practice sessions, answer feedback, and progress tracking.

  • Practice types include categories such as basic numbers, phone numbers, prices, dates, times, codes, and decimals.
  • Typed answers and revealed answers are part of the practice flow and may be used for local statistics or app features tied to your usage.
  • Audio playback uses Apple speech and audio capabilities on your device.

Advertising and tracking choices

NumListen is ad-supported for people who have not purchased its ad-free option. It uses Google Mobile Ads to request and display banner, app-open, and interstitial ads.

  • Before Google Mobile Ads is initialized or an ad is requested on an Apple device, NumListen uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent flow. When a published UMP IDFA message applies, UMP presents its explanation and the Apple App Tracking Transparency prompt.
  • If you allow tracking, Google and its advertising partners may use the device advertising identifier to provide personalised ads and measure ad performance.
  • If tracking is denied or restricted, NumListen may still request advertising inventory permitted without the IDFA. It does not initialize or request ads while the tracking decision is still unresolved.
  • You can change tracking permission in iOS Settings. When UMP requires it, you can also choose Privacy choices in NumListen Settings to manage ad privacy preferences.

Analytics and crash reporting

NumListen uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app reliability, diagnose failures, and improve the product over time.

  • Firebase Analytics may receive app event and device information to help us understand how the app is used.
  • Firebase Crashlytics may receive crash and diagnostic information to help us find and fix stability issues.

Purchases and ad-free access

NumListen uses RevenueCat to process purchase and entitlement information needed to provide and restore the ad-free option.

  • Purchase-related services may process transaction or entitlement information needed to manage access.
  • This privacy page does not describe pricing tiers or feature packaging, only the purchase and entitlement processing needed for ad-free access.

Feedback and external links

If you choose to send feedback, NumListen opens a Tally form in your browser. Tally processes information you choose to submit under its own privacy policy.

  • Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is necessary to explain the issue or feedback you are reporting.
  • NumListen does not operate an in-app cookie prompt. When you open an external site from the app, that site’s privacy and cookie practices apply.

Your choices

You can manage local data and advertising choices from your device and within NumListen.

  • You can reset local statistics and settings from Manage data in NumListen Settings. Deleting the app removes its local app data.
  • You can withdraw tracking permission in iOS Settings and use Privacy choices in NumListen Settings when UMP makes that option available.
  • For privacy questions, contact [email protected].

Policy updates

NumListen may update this privacy policy as the product changes. The page will show the latest update date when material revisions are published.
